京都の大学の社会学部で情報・メディアについて学び、その後、大阪の広告会社で働きながら2006年から商業イラストとファインアートの活動を始める。
2009年に大阪にて初個展を行う。
2010年以降はカラフルな配色を無くした黒いラインと赤色だけで表現するアート作品に取り組み始め、アーティストとして本格的に活動し始める。
2012年に京都にて初のライヴペインティングパフォーマンスを行う。
2013年から2014年まで、トロント(カナダ)とニューヨーク(アメリカ)に滞在しアーティスト活動を行う。

Since 2006, she has been active as an illustrator both in the commercial and fine art worlds.
She graduated from University in Kyoto, Japan, where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science in 2003.
She has been drawing with emphasis on black bold lines and red color that represent heart and mind.
Her illustrations and drawings have been exhibited internationally in numerous gallery exhibitions and art events.
Tanaka’s practice also includes performance; her first live drawing performance took place at the Kyoto Art Festa "art Dive" in Japan, 2012.
Keiko Tanaka lived and worked from January 2013 to March 2014 in Toronto, CANADA and NewYork, USA.
